Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain Inventory Management process, standards and digital tool set that targets total and unhealthy inventory reduction across Manufacturing and Distribution
  • Run continuous improvement of the global stock management process together with stakeholders through Problem solving and Kaizens.
  • Partner with Equipment Inventory Leadership at Segments, Regions, Finance and digital teams to ensure our Inventory Management process, analytics tools and reporting structure meets Business priorities and needs.
  • Lead inventory reporting, visibility, and accuracy across Equipment GE Healthcare.
  • Lead regular review and set up of Inventory classification (Push/Pull)
  • Cooperate with Segments, Regions to secure successful and timely Month End Closing together with Finance
  • Upgrade and roll out Inventory End2End entitlement model for GE HealthCare
  • Provide central support to secure growth of Inventory management knowledge across Equipment GE Healthcare teams.
  • Benchmark internal and external Inventory management process and drive towards the best in class at industry level

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from Supply Chain, Engineering or Business form accredited university.
  • Proven 5-10 years experiences with managing Inventory Management process, standards, and tools across global companies
  • Demonstrated leadership and strong project management skills with demonstrable deployment from project identification to the completion
  • Capability to lead multiple improvements projects in global organization
  • Self starter able to network and influence in Matrix organization
  • Proven utilization of Lean / Problem solving tools in daily and project work
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Good working knowledge of Planning system and analytics software such as Tableau or MS PowerBI
  • Travel 10-20%
